Mohamed bin Zayed and President of Russia discuss regional development

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received this evening a telephone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
They discussed ways to enhance friendly relations and co-operation between the UAE and Russia, as well as the latest regional developments, the issue of terrorism and the efforts by the two countries and the international community to combat terrorist groups.
Sheikh Mohamed and President Putin also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on them.
They affirmed mutual keenness to strengthen peace and stability in the region.
