Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz has received a written message from Libyan National Transition Council (NTC) Head Mustafa Abdel Jalil. The letter was handed by NTC member Abd al-Majid Saif Nasr during his meeting today with the Mauritanian President, who is also the chairman of the African Union (AU) high-level panel on Libya. Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments of the Libyan crisis, Nasr told reporters here, adding that the Libyan people would adopt the AU initiative if its includes the departure of Gaddafi and his sons from the Libyan political scene.
