A regional Kurdish deputy was killed while the Turkish police was breaking up a demonstration staged by the Kurdish Peace and Democracy party to protest the air raids launched by the Turkish army on the bases of militants Kurds in southeast Turkey. Turkish security sources said today Yildirim Oihn, member of Van province assembly was killed yesterday when a teargas canister hit him in the chest, while the military police was attempting to disperse a crowd of demonstrators in the city of Chokorjh, south-eastern Turkey. Media organs close to the Kurds published today pictures of the Kurdish Deputy Yildirim laying on the ground with blood pouring from his chest during the demonstration.(QNA)
