King Abdullah II of Jordan left for the United States last night to lead Jordan''s delegation to the United Nations General Assembly''s 66th session. In an address to the assembly, the King will outline his vision on developments in the Arab region, Middle East peace prospects and other world issues, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported. He will also hold a series of meetings at the United Nations with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and a host of world leaders and senior figures to discuss ties and developments in the Arab region and the world. The Jordanian monarch will also deliver a keynote speech at the World Leaders Forum, due to be hosted by Columbia University, on regional and international developments. Also in a series of meetings he will hold with top US and world economic and corporate leaders in New York, King Abdullah will review cooperation prospects with Jordan in the areas of business and trade.
