Israeli military forces killed two Palestinian youths in a West Bank raid and a Lebanese soldier in a separate border clash, Israeli media reported Monday. Ynetnews reported Palestinian sources said Israeli troops opened fire during an operation in Kalandia in the West Bank overnight. The Israeli army said the troops were sent to the village to make arrests and came under attack by rioters. Five Israeli soldiers were injured by rocks thrown at them, the army said. The military said three people were arrested and it was investigating reports of casualties. Haaretz reported the Lebanese soldier died during an exchange of gunfire Monday between Lebanese and Israeli troops in the Mount Dov region.
