Iran\'s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) rejected on Monday a ceasefire offer by the Party for Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK), the local satellite Press TV reported. Earlier in the day, Press TV said that PJAK has called for a ceasefire with IRGC after fresh rounds of operations against the group in northwestern Iran. PJAK decided to announce a ceasefire with Tehran upon the request of some \"mediating parties\" to find what the group called \"peaceful solutions\" to the conflicts between two sides, according to the report. However, IRGC rejected the offer and called on the PJAK to withdraw its militants from Iranian border areas, said the report. The IRGC launched a series of operations against the PJAK in northwestern Iran on Friday afternoon, IRGC Colonel Hamid Ahmadi said Saturday. \"The operations to clear the country\'s northwestern area of the members of PJAK terrorist group will continue with strength,\" said Ahmadi.
