The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial Council’s Coordination Meeting was held in Manama under the chairmanship of the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir.
According to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the meeting reviewed the implementation mechanism of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on enhancing the march of the GCC joint action.
The meeting also discussed the topics on the agenda of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, in preparation for the upcoming summit of their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC States, due to be held in Riyadh on 21st April 2016.
The UAE delegation to the meeting was headed by Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
Also discussed were regional and international developments of common interest, including means to combat terrorism.
