HE Vice-President of the European Parliament Ryszard Czarnecki affirmed that the State of Qatar succeeded through the Doha Forum in providing an excellent platform to exchange views among all parties of the international community, stressing that the Forum is an important international platform to address the world's problems.
In an interview with Al-Arab newspaper published Monday, the European official praised the role played by the State of Qatar at the global level to resolve disputes and lead mediations.
Ryszard Czarnecki also praised the Doha Forum which held yesterday, saying that the Doha Forum 2017 is very important as a remarkable international step because the State of Qatar has succeeded in being an important and successful forum for exchanging discussions and views between representatives of the European Union and the United Nations, as well as representatives of countries that produce refugees such as Syria, or hos countries, and other countries that play significant role in supporting refugees.
The vice president of the European Parliament called on the EU countries to provide a strong financial and logistical support to solve the refugees problem and to support countries suffering from the problem such as Iraq, Syria and Turkey, adding that he has visited refugee shelters in Iraq, Lebanon, Kurdistan and Jordan. All they need is financial and logistic support to return home.
HE also praised the recent visit of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to Poland earlier this month, saying that it was a very positive and successful at all levels and came out with tangible results and was culminating in the signing of four important agreements.
He believed that Qatari investments and trade exchanges between the two countries are promising and the State of Qatar and Poland will also provide a good example of close cooperation and partnership.
