Egypt's Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr met here today with Iraqi Foreign Undersecretary Labid Abawi who is currently visiting Egypt. Abawi said in a press statement that the meeting was positive, explaining that it dealt with the overall situation in the region and its implications as well as the importance of the coordination of the Egyptian-Iraqi stance towards them and the unification of vision towards developments in the Arab World. The Iraqi official added that he discussed with the Egyptian Foreign Minister ways to develop bilateral relations in all areas, welcoming the contribution of Egypt to the re-construction of Iraq and the development of its economy.
