Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohammad Amr started Wednesday a visit to Turkey for consultations over the situation in the region, mainly Syria and Libya. Turkish news agency Anatolia reported that Amr will meet with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. It added that talks will focus on the latest developments in the region and enhancing cooperation and coordination in stances over different issues, particularly the unrest in Syria and Libya. Talks will also touch upon bolstering Egyptian-Turkish relations in all domains. This is the first foreign visit to Amr since he assumed office.
