The Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ambassador Ahmed bin Helli, has died in Canada, where he was receiving the treatment of incurable disease.
Ambassador Hossam Zaki, Assistant Secretary-General the Arab League, condoled the death on his Facebook account:
"We offer condolences to all friends of Ahmed bin Helli on his death, after he passed away in Canada, where he was receiving medical treatment from an incurable disease. We pray to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in Paradise and to grant solace and patience to his family."
