Bahraini Ambassador to Russia Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Sa’ati met today with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa Mikhail Bogdanov. He praised strong friendly relations between both countries and their progress at all levels.
The Bahraini ambassador discussed with the Russian official the decision taken by Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and many other countries to cut off their diplomatic ties with Qatar because of its interference in their internal affairs and support to terrorism.
Bogdanov voiced his country’s appreciation of the distinguished relations with Bahrain, lauding growing bilateral cooperation in all fields. He also stressed Russia’s stance of no interference in this difference which has to be settled through dialogue between the concerned countries out of keenness on security and stability in the Gulf region.
