President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received the Republic of Korea’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Koo Hyun-mo.
The BACA’s President gave an overview of the main cultural projects for the year 2017 that titled “If Our Antiquities Speak”, and the ambitious projects for the year 2018, when Muharraq celebrates the “Capital of Islamic Culture”.
She spoke of the prominent cultural monuments in Bahrain and the cultural activities, including Spring of Culture and Bahrain Summer festivals.
The Korean Ambassador lauded the BACA’s effort to stage cultural activities, stressing interest in further boosting cooperation.
