A joint friendship society has been established to promote bilateral relations and develop joint cooperation between Bahrain and South Korea.
Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla announced the move as he held a meeting with the Supreme Council for Health (SCH) President Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa.
Two delegations representing the Ministry of Health and the South Korean Health Insurance Review and Assessment Services (HIRA) attended.
The meeting focused on the development of the health sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain in line with Government’s keenness on promoting comprehensive care.
He underlined the importance of the planned health insurance scheme which, he said, would contribute to the health system in Bahrain and engage the public and private sectors.
