The Kingdom of Bahrain has decided to send humanitarian aid to Somalia to help those affected by drought and famine which swept the country recently. Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Foundation Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa said in a statement today that King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa gave directions for the provision of urgent humanitarian relief aid to the Somali people worth USD three million to help the needy and relieve the victims. Sheikh Nasser underlined the Bahraini monarch''s keenness on providing assistance to the Somali people to alleviate the suffering the people affected by famine out of human ties that bring together the different peoples of the world
