Three Pakistani soldiers were killed when Indian border forces opened fire at them across the disputed Line of Control (LoC) in the Kashmir territory, said military spokesman on Thursday. Major General Athat Abbas, the military spokesman, told media that the incident took place Tuesday night in Neelum Valley sector of Kashmir territory. He said the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) opened fire at a check post in Dudhnial region of the Neelam Valley sector. He said as a result of BSF firing three Pakistan army soldiers were killed. He did not say whether there was an retaliatory fire but added that the issue has been raised with India. An investigation into the incident has been initiated, said the spokesman.
