The Yemeni government announced that it welcomed the initial ideas that emerged from the joint meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, US, and Britain, which was held, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, last Thursday .
During its regular meeting, held here today and chaired by Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Daghar, the Premier, the government welcomed any peaceful solution, provided it falls under the roof of the agreed terms of reference of UN Security Council Resolution no.: 2216 adopted under Chapter VII, the Gulf-Sponsored Initiative, its time-tabled executive mechanism and outputs of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference, confirming its positive readiness to deal with any peaceful solution, as long as it coincides with the three mentioned references, reported Saudi Press Agency SPA.
