The air traffic has stopped in Yemen, because Yemen Airways worker strike. The workers are demanding the dismissal of the chief of the company who is a member of President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s family. They are also making financial demands which have not been made public yet. The strike has caused chaos and confusion across all of the country’s airports. A source from Yemen Airways confirmed that all domestic and international flights have been suspended. Yemen’s unions have called on all of the company’s employees to strike until the chairman Abdul Khaliq Al-Kaddi and his management staff leave office after they were accused of selling off the company’s assets.
