US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is in South Korea to discuss the effort to get North Korea back to nuclear disarmament talks, the US Today reported. Clinton arrived in Seoul on Saturday and was to see South Korea’s foreign minister before meeting the country’s president early Sunday. She will then travel to Japan to show US support for the Japanese people who are recovering from a major earthquake and tsunami as well as strong aftershocks. Clinton came to South Korea following two days of NATO meetings. She assured NATO allies that Washington was prepared to do what it takes to ensure the success of the Libya mission and called on US partners in Europe and elsewhere to boost pressure on Gaddafi to step down from power.
