US ambassador in Algeria in car accident

The US ambassador to Algeria, Henry Ensher, has been involved in a car accident Tuesday, in Ain ??El Hammam town which is located in the Tizi Ouzou governorate, east of Algiers. A local source told Arabstoday that the US ambassador was on an official visit to Tizi Ouzou. The source added that when he was on his way to Ain ??El Hammam , his car suddenly veered from its course on road no 15. Our source confirmed that the US ambassador was not injured. Other reports spoke of one of his bodyguards being injured and taken to hospital in the town to receive medical attention. No official statement about the incident has been released yet.
