A source in Libya told 'Arabstoday' that two men had died as a result of clashes in Tripoli amongst various armed groups. The clashes occurred when one group tried to take control of a government building previously used as Ministry of Defense under Muammar Gaddafi. The source said that two rebels had been killed during clashes and ambulances were seen approaching the place indicating a large number of injurred. However roads leading to the building had been cut off. The identity of the rebels is not yet known according to the source. They had been summoned to leave the building but refused. It is important to note this building was a strategic command centre under the previous regime and had been heavily bombed by Nato aircrafts during the six month long operation to oust the former leader.
