Tunisian interior ministry has congratulated the Tunisian nation for the success of the Assembly elections, and confirmed that it will work along with all the parties in a very democratic and respectful way. Hisham Almo’adab,responsible for information and communication within the ministry, said: “ we congratulate the Tunisian nations for helping us in passing successfully the most important elections in our history, and we congratulate the winners who were chosen by the nation.” He confirmed that the elections have finished without any security problems, and that’s because of all the efforts made by the security forces. He pointed that the police has issued 600 thousands ID cards to ensure that the people are capable to participate in the elections legally since last February, which helped doubled the number of votes. Hisham Almoadab has confirmed that the number of the detainees has increased to 8457 detainees, where 7028 have been arrested on September. He stressed that the borders forces where one of the main reasons for maintaining the country’s internal security.
