The dead bodies, which had bullet wounds, were found in Shawa, a small town in the North Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border. The Taliban movement in Pakistan issued a statement where it claimed responsibility for the killings, in response to the Pakistani army operation in January that led to the killing of a number of Taliban militants, including a senior leader. Eyewitnesses said that there was a woman’s body among the dead , which is unaccepted thing according to the Tribal traditions. It’s worth mentioning that, these deaths will hinder efforts by Pakistani government to negotiate with militants.
