The foreign affairs ministry of Sudan has announced that the government will accept a proposal on the humanitarian aid activities in the provinces of South Kordofan and Blue Nile. The official ministry\'s spokesperson, Ahmed Morawah, told Arabstoday: \"We have agreed on the proposal submitted by the Arab league, African Union and the UN. We are now discussing the details\". Morawah added: \"The approval of this proposal doesn\'t mean that foreign organisations will be able to work in South Kordofan and Blue Nile without informing us\". A statement issued by the UN Security Council urged to stop violence on the borders between Sudan and South Sudan and to allow the transfer of humanitarian aid to the people of Kordofan and Blue Nile. Morawah said: \"This statement doesn\'t add anything new\". The Security Council statement also expressed \"serious concerns about the growing tension between Sudan and South Sudan,\" urging both countries to stop all military actions on the borders. Morawah accused the public movement for liberating Sudan of causing suffering to the people of South Kordofan and Blue Nile, highlighting that the Sudanese government is aware of its responsibility towards its citizens there. The foreign ministry\'s spokesperson added that: \"the organisations that call for the necessity of bringing aid are actually trying to support rebel movements. They express concerns about people\'s conditions, but they never address those responsible for such a situation\".
