Egyptian Prime Minister, Essam Sharaf, has announced that the trial of the former regime will take place publically, appealing to the masses to leave adequate time for them to be carried out properly and impartially. Sharaf ordered the Minister of the Interior, Mansour al-Issawi, to restore security in the country within a maximum of four days. Sharaf also stressed his cooperation with the legitimate demands of the Egyptians, stating that there should be no doubt that he would fulfill them as soon as possible. Sharaf announced that there will be a cabinet reshuffle in a week’s time, and that he is currently working on the evaluation of the nominations made for the new ministers. Sharaf also said that he will head the Council of the Martyrs of the Revolution himself, and that he is working on the distribution of compensation for the families of martyrs and the wounded.
