Egyptian candidate to presidency Amr Moussa Confirmed that the Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) has promised to set an end for the transitional period by the end of June 2012, stressing the importance of this commitment . The former Secretary General of Arab League has twitted that he \"would prefer holding the presidential elections after Shura Council elections, as it would be more in the interest of the Egyptian people.\" Moussa had welcomed the announcement made by the SCAF to open candidacy for the Egyptian presidency on April 15, in preparation to hold presidential elections in June 2012.
