Saudi Ambassador to Cairo Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Qattan announced that, Saudi Arabia’s government has approved 4 conventions with the Egyptian government.
According to a statement by the Saudi embassy, the conventions are a memorandum of understanding in the field of Civil Defense between the two Interior ministries, a memorandum of understanding in agriculture fields between the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in Egypt, a memorandum of understanding in shipping and ports field, and another convention to avoid double taxation and prevent tax evasion with regard to income taxes and the accompanying protocol.
Qattan confirmed that, the approval of these conventions comes in the light of the qualitative shift witnessed by the continuous cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields, and a confirmation to the development witnessed by the Saudi-Egyptian relations.
