Baghdad – Jaafar Al Nasrawi

Muqata Sadr, the leader of the Sadrist Movement, has called on Nouri Al-Maliki to abandon his “exclusionary political policies” in order to preserve the reputation of Iraq. Sadr’s call comes as an arrest warrant is issued for the independent MP, Sabah Al Saadi. These things indicate a new dictatorship is in place, but Iraq doesn’t want clashes or a “new Saddam”, Sadr said.  “I call on Maliki to stop doing those things as political work is based on sharing not exclusion.”
