Hospital sources in Sharm el-Sheikh who treated Hosni Mubarak, reported that his heart stopped working for two minutes early on Sunday. At the time, his attorney confirmed that he was suffering from a malignant form of cancer, while the Egyptian Ministry of Health insisted that Mubarek\'s condition was stable, and that there are no reports proving that he has cancer. Meanwhile, fears spread in the streets that the former president had died before being brought to trial. Sources from within the hospital said that: \"Mubarek\'s heart stopped for about two minutes early on Sunday, forcing the medical team to use electric shock treatment to re-start his heart.\" The former Egyptian President\'s lawyer, Farid El-Deeb, also claimed that his client is suffering from a malignant form of cancer. The lawyer from the Supreme Court called on the armed forces to allow the German physician, Bohleyr Marx, who performed surgery on President Mubarak in Germany over a year ago, to come to Egypt in order to undertake a medical examination, and to write a report on his health. Meanwhile, there are fears in political circles in Egypt that this will lead to the death of the President before he is brought to trial, and public anger in Egypt has increased for this reason. Political forces from the Supreme Egyptian Council have accused the ruling armed forces of a lack of seriousness in dealing with Mubarek\'s trial.
