The local council of the city of Bani Walid said on Saturday in a statement Arabstoday obtained a copy of that the founder and member of the council “Abdel-Salam Mohamed Abokraa” had been kidnapped from his home in the Tripoli Friday evening. It is noted that the abduction took place after the expulsion of the Bani Walid rebels, along with their local and military council, and the security committee from the city, in addition to storming headquarters of May 28 martyrs battalion and burning the headquarters of the council in January by the remnants of Gaddafi and the outlaws. This incident is the second of its type after the abduction of the members of the security committee in Zliten in order to destabilise the state’s security and pressure on it to prevent it from implementing the procedures and laws needed to deter those who breach the law of the new Libya.
