An Arab group of hackers calling themselves “\"Computer Pirates\" are reported to have penetrated many Israeli institutions on Sunday, stealing email passwords from institutions and individuals, and posting them on the group’s Facebook page, according to the Hebrew-language news website Maariv. The website stated that Arab \"hackers\" have succeeded in penetrating the email of the Hebrew news website \"Walla\" which is known for its affiliation to Israeli intelligence in addition to the Hotmail account of the Hebrew language Nana news as well as the communications company Bzak International. Moreover, they have stolen email passwords belonging to members of the Israeli Knesset as well as the general public. The director of an information security company which fights electronic attacks believes that penetration has not been through Facebook but through penetrating undetermined Israeli websites, confirming that an estimated 300 email passwords have been hacked.
