GCC chief, UN envoy to Yemen discuss latest developments

Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashed Al-Zayani, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC, met in Riyadh today with the United Nations envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Al-Cheikh Ahmed, Saudi Press Agency, SPA, reported.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest political, security and humanitarian developments in Yemen, including the efforts being exerted by the UN envoy to Yemen to restore the political process in Yemen according to the GCC initiative, outcomes of the national dialogue conference and UN resolution No. 2216.
The UN envoy briefed the GCC chief on the details of the initiative he is offering as regards Al-Hodeida port.
