Fatah is to participate in the upcoming meeting, held Saturday with a delegation of Hamas leaders, in the presence of Former Prime Minister of Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, according to Fatah leader in the Gaza Strip, Abdullah Abu Samhadana. “During the meeting, Fatah will discuss the incident that took place last Friday at the Erez Border Crossing near Beit Hanoun northern Gaza Strip, when a presidential delegation was denied access to Gaza, in addition to the harassments against Fatah members and leaders in the sector,” Samhadana stated to the press, Friday night. On the impact of the crisis between Fatah and Hamas on the reconciliation pact, Fatah leader said, “'it had no effect, and all committees of the reconciliation, such as the freedoms committee, are still doing their job.” He underlined the desire of Fatah to achieve reconciliation for the unity of the Palestinian people
