Palestinian sources confirmed to "Arabs today," that the coming period will witness a serious move in the Palestinian reconciliation process, following the completion of the prisoner swap deal with the Israel. The sources believe that the completion of the swap deal will be a motivation to complete the reconciliation process and end the conflict between Hamas and Fatah. Azzam Al-Ahmad, a member of Fatah's Central Committee and leader of the party's delegation in the dialogue with Hamas, announced that a meeting with Hamas will be held in Cairo on Wednesday evening at the invitation of the Egyptian leadership, which confirmed that it has a new vision for reconciliation deal. Al-Ahmed said in remarks to "Voice of Palestine" Radio that the meeting should have been held before that, but some negative statements by Hamas leaders in Gaza have delayed it.” He said that he will meet on Wednesday evening the President of Hamas Political Bureau, Khaled Mashaal and his deputy, Moussa Abu Marzouk, in Cairo, pointing out that he will look in the swap deal in detail, and discuss the implementation of the reconciliation process as soon as possible. Al-Ahmed said that the swap deal between "Israel" and the Hamas movement was the obstacle to any progress in the political process. Adding that most of the international countries were putting pressure on the Palestinian leadership regarding the kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. The member of the Political Bureau and head of foreign relations in the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" Osama Hamdan said that the completion of the prisoner swap deal with the Israeli side, which will release 1027 prisoners is a big achievement to all the Palestinians. Hamdan expressed his hope that this achievement will help in pushing towards completing the reconciliation deal. Hamdan said that Hamas is keen to inform and update the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, and other Palestinian leaders with all the information regarding the swap deal. He added: "We also believe that this deal could help complete the reconciliation deal.”
