An explosion appears to have gone off in the Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria. A Syrian official said the blast had targeted a military bus. There were no reports of casualties or injured yet. No more details were forthcoming. The Palestinian camp is one of several spread across Syria and its neighbour Lebanon. Since the start of the Syrian uprising, young Palestinians have been protesting against groups closely associated with the regime and tensions exploded in June when “pro-regime thugs “opened fire on a demonstration in Yarmouk, killing 14 refugees. In retaliation, Palestinian protesters then burned down the militia’s headquarters.
