Two fighters from Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, were wounded in a mysterious explosion occurred on Friday evening in the Brigades’ Hattin camp in the town of Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza Strip. Sources said that the site is located next to Balsam hospital, where the wounded were transferred to treat minor injuries. A source added that the reports conflicted about the causes of the explosion, while security sources said that the blast was caused by a local rocket near the site. Sources from the Brigades said that it is a result of a bombing carried out by an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft.
