Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, answered a wish of an 8-year-old boy, Abdullah Ali Issa Al Baloushi, to get the uniform of Dubai Police. The boy expressed his wish in a video which his father posted on Twitter.
Al Marri received the child who was accompanied by his father at his office the GHQ of the Dubai Police, in the presence of Amna Al Bana, director of social network management and member of the Happiness and Positivity Council at Dubai Police.
Al Bana noted that the department and the council contacted the boy’s family after Al Marri directed to realise the child’s wish. They took the size of the boy and the uniform of a 1st lieutenant was especially tailored for him.
The grade-4 child was overwhelmed with happiness when he saw that his wish came true.
