Between 42-46 people in Afghanistan were killed Tuesday when 14 bombers struck in a busy market in the Kunduz province. Some 130 people more were injured. Police said that 12 more people were killed afterwards in another explosion. They added that 30 people were injured in the second explosion, police said. Afghani President Hamid Karzai condemned the attack, saying that the bombers did not respect the sanctity of Ramadan. Karzai was on a visit to Saudi Arabia during the attack. The victims of both explosions were all civilians, either food sellers or buyers. Most of them were getting ready for Eid celebration by the beginning of the next week. No organization has yet taken responsibility for the attack.
