Calm has returned to Cairo’s Tahrir Square, on Saturday morning after the political parties and movements that participated in the million-man protest on Friday of ‘Regaining Honor’ decided to leave the Square. For its part, the April 6 movement announced the ending of Friday of regaining honor in Cairo’s Tahrir Square and all Egypt’s squares, in which they denounced the military violence against protesters during the past week, and called the SCAF to hand over the power after the parliamentary elections. In a statement, April 6 movement said that, it prepares for a mass demonstration in the first anniversary of the January 25 Revolution, to call for handing over the power for civilians.
