Oman Shura Council President Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal Al-Ma'wali hailed deep-rooted social, economic, political and legislative cooperation binding Bahrain and Oman. He made the statement as he met Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh and the accompanying delegation, who arrived on an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He stressed the keenness of the two countries’ leaders on bolstering bilateral relations and strengthening joint cooperation further in all fields. Al-Saleh also hailed solid fraternal relations, lauding sustainable development strides in both countries, as well as landmark successes in all fields.
He stressed the importance of the visit which, he said, will consolidate legislative relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman. He hailed Oman’s legislative strides and contribution to upgrading laws, stressing the importance of cooperation between legislative councils in the GCC states. The meeting was attended by Shura Council First Deputy Chairman Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, Second Deputy Chairperson Jameela Ali Salman and other officials attended.
