Saad Al-Hariri the former Lebanese Prime Minister warned against the risk of funding a war by the Syrian regime against the growing people\'s revolution in the country, saying that this regime reached the brink of collapse. Al-Hariri said in a statement issued by his press office in Beirut on Friday that the military campaign waged by the armed battalion of the Syrian regime against popular areas is one of the most serious episodes of a bloody series sponsored by international and regional entities which agreed on giving Bashar the opportunity to kill his people and protect his regime with barbaric methods. \"Syrians are facing a military machine which does not care for humanitarian and moral values. This confirms that the regime is on the brink of collapse and downfall\", Al-Hariri added. Al-Hariri said \"Al-Assad would have not dared to invade the Syrian cities and villages with tanks and rocket launchers, if he hadn\'t foreign support,\" calling the Arab world for taking practical steps through recognising the Syrian National Council as the legitimate representative of Syrian people and to withdraw the authority from the barbaric regime. He pointed to the risk which targets the country and its national fight for freedom from domination and hegemony. Also, Al-Harir believed that Assad is currently fighting the last battle in order to get Syria out of the Arab incubator and take over its national decision as a pretext for defending the resistance and opposition systems.
