Pakistani security forces arrested at least 12 suspected militants from the Pakistani border town of Zhob, near Waziristan, on Wednesday. According to sources, the security personnel raided a house in Sambaza area of Zhob, arresting 12 persons accursedly linked with the Al-Qaeda and Tehreek-e-Taliban. Pakistani daily (The Nation) quoted a senior government official as saying that the suspects were handed over to the concerned authorities for further interrogation. "Eight suspects are Turk nationals, three Chechens and one is Pakistani hailing from Waziristan," sources said adding that a large quantity of weapons, CDs and maps were also recovered with them. "We can say anything about their motives only after the investigation," said the officials who denied disclosing further details of the arrested.
