Bumping into each other backstage at T in the Park, indie star Adam (Treadaway) and Morello (Tena) get off to a feisty start. So feisty, in fact, that a passing security guard decides to teach them some lessons in love by handcuffing them together. The pair have no choice but to negotiate the festival, and each other, joined at the hip... Either born out of a marketing proposal or an unfinished exchange at the pub, David Mackenzie’s romantic drama opens with a wobble when gobby rockstar god (Luke Treadaway) clashes with even gobbier rockstar goddess (Natalia Tena) at Scottish music festival T In The Park, only to be immediately handcuffed to her by an impish security guard. Tradition demands they fall in love. And they do. Adorably so by, say, day three. Meanwhile, a tour around T’s site promotes Tennants, sausage suppers and live footage of 2010’s tartan treasures Paolo Nutini and The Proclaimers; the acts BBC Three likely ran out of time for. Filmed on location, it’s not hard to sense the chaos and muddy spirit of Mackenzie’s local Glastonbury. But Visit Scotland adverts get the point across faster. Verdict The pair muster some chemistry but it\'s the big musical moments - including a gusto-packed Soft Cell riff - that impress most. Sadly, the pair\'s romance is predictable and the plot unfolds with all the freshness of a two day old fish supper.
