45 Years co-stars Tom Courtenay and Charlotte Rampling took home matching Silver Bear Awards for Best Actor and Best Actress.
The Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize went to The Club by Pablo Larraín and the Silver Bear Alfred Bauer Prize [for a feature film that opens new perspectives] was presented to Ixcanul by Jayro Bustamante.
The Silver Bear for Best Director was shared by Radu Jude for Aferim! and Małgorzata Szumowska for Body, while the Silver Bear for Best Script went to Patricio Guzmán for El botón de nácar
