The supernatural horror flick Ouija is No. 1 at the North American box office, earning $20 million in receipts during the last weekend before Halloween, Rentrak announced Sunday.
Directed by Stiles White, the film based on the Hasbro property stars Olivia Cooke and Daren Kagasoff.
Coming in at No. 2 with $14.2 million is John Wick, followed by Fury at No. 3 with $13 million, Gone Girl at No. 4 with $11.1 million and The Book of Life at No. 5 with $9.8 million.
Rounding out the top tier are St. Vincent at No. 6 with $8.1 million, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day at No. 7 with $7 million, The Best of Me at No. 8 with $4.7 million, The Judge at No. 9 with $4.3 million and Dracula Untold at No. 10 with $4.3 million.
