Liam Neeson's latest action-thriller Taken 3 is No. 1 at the North American box office this weekend with $40.4 million in receipts, Rentrak announced Sunday.
Coming in at No. 2 in the United States and Canada is Selma with $11.2 million, followed by Into the Woods at No. 3 with $9.8 million, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies at No. 4 with $9.4 million and Unbroken at No. 5 with $8.4 million.
Rounding out the top tier are The Imitation Game at No. 6 with $7.6 million, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb at No. 7 with $6.7 million, Annie at No. 8 with $4.9 million, Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death at No. 9 with $4.8 million and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 at No. 10 with $3.8 million.
