The feature film "La Preuve" (The Proof) directed by Algerian Amor Hakkar will participate alongside 10 other productions from seven Arab countries in the 14th edition of "Cinémas du sud" (Cinemas of South) Festival, scheduled from 24 to April 27 in Lyon (France), organizers announced. "La Preuve", which already participated in 2013 in the International Film Festival in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), deals with male infertility through the story of a man suffering from this disease, played by Nabil Asli. Previously, Amor Hakkar produced "La maison jaune" (The Yellow House, 2006), which was awarded a prize at Mediterranean Film Festival of "Mostra de Valencia" (Spain - 2007). The Festival's films selection includes "Une échelle pour Damas" (A scale for Damascus) directed by Mohammad Malas (Syria - 2013), Nour -Eddine Lakhmari's "Zero" (Morocco - 2012), "Rags and Tatters" of Ahmad Abdalla (Egypt-2013), "Palestine stéréo" directed by Rachid Masharawi (Palestine/Tunisia - 2013) and Lara Saba's "Blind Intersections" (Lebanon- 2012).
