Merzak Allouache’s “Les terrasses” (The Terraces), aimed at showing the hidden life of Algiers city through its terraces, was previewed Sunday evening as part of the 2nd Maghreb Film Festival.
The film was screened in the official competition of the 2nd Maghreb Film Festival which is being held in Algiers since Wednesday.
“The terraces” relates a day spent of five terraces in different working-class neighbourhoods of Algiers city.
The 2nd Maghreb Film Festival of Algiers will be held till June 11 at El Mouggar movie theatre and Algiers film theatre with two days of competition in three categories.
