Egyptian actress Sabreen expressed her pleasure for participating in the TV drama Show “The Group II” scheduled to be held in the coming Ramadan. She said, “Of course I am happy for participating in a show written by Egyptian Scenarist Waheed Hamed who is of Egypt’s major authors at all.”
She expected that the show will enjoy high rates of viewers transcending the first part of the series, due to the recent political developments witnessed in the country. She added that the new show will begin with the ascent of the second guide Hassan Al Hedeiby to the group’s leadership. It will discuss the group’s relations with former Presidents Gamal Abdel Nasser, and Anwar Al Sadat in addition to their position from the execution of the group’s leading member Sayed Qotob.
She revealed that she performs the role of Zeinab Al Ghazali, stressing the increasing efforts that she exerted during the filming. She added that she refused to participate in any other shows to be able to presenting her best performance.
She expected that the coming Ramadan will witness distinctive drama show, while she lamented the absence of Egyptian actor Mahmoud Abdel Aziz who passed away in 2016, saying that he was always keen to present his works during the holy month.
She appreciated the producers who turned to present their works before Ramadan, saying it is positive matter. She said that such a trend should be supported to allow the viewers return to the Egyptian drama which is still dominating the Arab drama.
Regarding the cinema, Sabreen expressed her happiness for her participation in her recent film “Water, Greenery and Beautiful Face” with Egyptian superstar Laila Elwy. She stressed that she is lucky for her return after a period of absence, underlining her careful approach to choose her roles.
She stressed her keenness to participate in the works that carry clear messages to the community, stressing that the fans will not respect any works that have no objectives.
