Lebanese singer Madeleine Matar revealed she is currently working on several individual songs and denied media reports claiming she will produce her own music. In an interview with Arab Today, Matar said that “focusing on one song only is much better that working on more than 10 songs at the same time in terms of quality.” Most singers and production companies follow this strategy which is much safer particularly from the financial point of view, she added. The Lebanese star said she considers reviewing some other songs offers from Lebanese and Egyptian composers but noted that she will be selective. Matar said her slow progress in music production is mainly due to the recent death of her father. Matar took part in the television program "Kaes El Noujoum" on the Lebanese satellite channel LBCI, and won the Cup, of the Tunisian singer Latifa.
